20-50(-100) cm hoch, abstehend behaart, mit oft beblätterten oberirdischen Ausläufern. Stark aromatisch. Blätter eiförmig bis lanzettlich, kurz gestielt, 2-5(-8) cm lang, wenig tief gezähnt, anliegend behaart. Blüten am Ende der Zweige kopfig genähert, oft auch quirlartig in den obersten Blattwinkeln. Krone rosa oder lila, 5-7 mm lang, mit 4 +/- gleich langen Zipfeln. Teilfrüchte grubig punktiert.Flowering period (© Flora Helvetica 2018)
