Synthesis

30-140 cm hoch, zur Blütezeit ohne Ausläufer. Stängel 2- oder 4kantig, oben ziemlich dicht drüsenhaarig, Blätter gegenständig (ausser oberste), (1-)1,5-3 cm breit, allmählich zugespitzt, plötzlich in den 1,5-4 mm langen Stiel verschmälert. Kronblätter weiss bis blassrosa, 4-6 mm lang, Früchte drüsenhaarig, Samen mit einem durchsichtigen Anhängsel und weissen, spitzen Papillen in auffälligen Längsreihen. Narben keulig vereinigt.
