5-12(-20) cm hoch, aufsteigend, mehrstängelig, unverzweigt, zerstreut kurzhaarig oder kahl. Stängelblätter schmal-lanzettlich bis lineal, die unteren breiter als die oberen. Blüten meist einzeln, endständig, oft nickend. Krone hell-violettblau, eng glockenförmig, 1,5-2,5 cm lang, länger als ihr Durchmesser, fast bis zur Hälfte geteilt, Zipfel am Grund zusammengezogen, mit rund ausgeschnittenen Buchten (nur bei dieser C.-Art). Frucht nickend, kahl.
