Species description (Flora Helvetica 2018)

Untere Blätter nur 2-3paarig gefiedert, deren Teilblätter verkehrt-herzförmig, obere Blätter 3-7paarig mit länglich-linealen Teilblättern. Blüten 1,8-2,2 cm lang, Fahne nach vorn gestreckt. Kelchzähne länger als die Kelchröhre. Reife Frucht nicht abgeflacht, nur 4-6 mm breit, zwischen den Samen nicht eingeschnürt, +/- kahl, meist dunkelbraun bis schwarz.
