Species description (© Flora Helvetica 2018)

Dichte Polster bildend. Blätter 2-4 mm lang, von der Mitte an rückwärts gebogen, oberseits mit 3-5 kalkauscheidenden Grübchen, nur in der unteren Hälfte bewimpert. Stängel 1-5 cm, niederliegend oder aufrecht, mit 1-3 entfernt stehenden Blattpaaren, kahl. Blüten rosa bis purpurn. Kronblätter eiförmig, lang benagelt, ca. 2mal so lang und 2mal so breit wie die Kelchblätter. Diese 2-3 mm lang, meist vollständig kahl.
