Synthesis

Species description

30–50 cm hoch, mehrjährig, horstig. Blätter auffallend schmal, nur 0,2–0,5 mm breit und bis 45 cm lang, kahl, etwas steif. Blattscheiden rau. Blatthäutchen 0,5–2,5 mm lang, stumpf. Rispe sich allseitig in eine breite Pyramide öffnend , 10–25 cm lang. Ährchen 1-blütig, lanzettlich, 5–7,5 mm lang, an der Basis mit deutlichem, behaartem Kallus, Kallushaare bis 1 mm lang . Hüllspelze häutig, 3-nervig. Deckspelze ledrig, warzig, undeutlich 5-nervig am Ende breit gestutzt, asymmetrisch, mit 1,5–3,5 cm langer Granne und am Grannenansatz ein 0,2 mm langes Wimperkrönchen bildend .
