40-120 cm hoch, aufrecht oder niederliegend, drüsig behaart. Blätter sehr unregelmässig gefiedert, Teilblätter grob gezähnt bis fiederteilig, am gleichen Blatt 1-6 cm lang. Blüten in seitenständigen, 3-20blütigen Blütenständen, auf abwärts gebogenen Stielen, Durchmesser 1,5-2 cm. Krone gelb, mit kurzer Röhre und 5-6 schmalen, ausgebreiteten bis zurückgeschlagenen Zipfeln. Kelch +/- bis zum Grund in lineale Zipfel geteilt. Frucht eine leuchtend rote saftige Beere, Durchmesser 2-10 cm.
