Synthesis

5-30 cm hoch, aufsteigend, +/- kahl. Stängel deutlich 4kantig, am Grund fadenförmig. Mittlere Blätter lanzettlich bis verkehrt-eiförmig, 0,5-1 cm lang, mit nach vorn gerichteten Stachelchen und knorpeliger Spitze, meist zu 6 im Quirl. Teilblütenstände endständig und in den obersten Blattachseln, nach dem Blühen sparrig abstehend. Krone weiss, +/- flach, mit spitzen Zipfeln, Durchmesser ca. 3 mm. Früchte 1,2-1,6 mm hoch, dicht mit spitzen Papillen besetzt.
