Synthesis

10-20 cm hoch. Stängel unter der Mitte mit 2 gegenständigen, lanzettlichen, gestielten, bis 10 cm langen, dunkelgrün und braun gescheckten Blättern. Blüten meist einzeln, endständig, nickend. Perigonblätter 6, am Grund röhrig genähert, vorn abstehend und oft zurückgekrümmt, rosa bis rotviolett, die 3 äusseren am Grund jederseits mit einem kleinen Zahn. Frucht eine 3fächerige, lederige, vielsamige Kapsel.
