Bis 30 cm lange, kriechende oder flutende Triebe, an den Knoten wurzelnd. Blätter gegenständig, lanzettlich, 5-20 mm lang. Blüten 4zählig, 2-4 mm breit, weiss oder hellrosa, gestielt, einzeln in den Blattachseln. Staubblätter 4.

Neues Taxon: Gegenüber SISF-2 neu aufgenommener Neophyt. Die Art ist im Bearbeitungsgebiet bisher nicht nachgewiesen. Sie wurde aber aufgrund der Erfahrungen in den umliegenden Ländern in die Schwarze Liste der invasiven Neophyten und daher auch in die Checklist 2017 aufgenommen.
