Synthesis

30-100 cm hoch, mit langen, steifen Ästen, am Grund in der Jugend borstig, sonst kahl. Grundständige Blätter grob buchtig gezähnt, zur Blütezeit verdorrt. Obere Blätter klein, schmal-lanzettlich. Köpfe zu 2-3 fast sitzend in den Blattwinkeln, auch endständig. Blüten gelb, aussen oft rötlich, zungenförmig. Hülle dünn, zylindrisch, 10-12 mm lang. Früchte mit dem langen Schnabel 7-10 mm lang, unter dem Schnabel mit kleinen Schuppen, Pappusborsten nicht federig.
