15-30 cm hoch, niederliegend bis aufsteigend, dicht weissfilzig behaart. Blätter schmal-lanzettlich, bis 3,5 cm lang, in den unteren Blattwinkeln meist kleine Büschel oder Triebe. Deckblätter klein, mit häutigem Rand. Kronblätter weiss, bis auf ca. 1/3 ihrer Länge ausgerandet, 1,5-2mal so lang wie die Kelchblätter. Diese 6-10 mm lang. Kapsel wenig länger als der Kelch.
