20-60 cm hoch, oben verzweigt und kurz anliegend behaart. Untere Blätter verkehrt-eiförmig bis lanzettlich, buchtig gezähnt bis fiederteilig, gestielt, früh absterbend. Obere Blätter sitzend und stängelumfassend, gross, meist 1-3 cm breit. Kronblätter weiss, 3-4 mm lang. Schötchen herz-nierenförmig (nur am Grund ausgerandet), 3-4,5 mm lang und etwas breiter, Stiele 3-4mal so lang wie die Schötchen.
