10-30 cm hoch, am Grund und oben verzweigt, kahl. Blätter schmal-lanzettlich oder borstenförmig, bis 1,5 cm lang, dem Stängel anliegend, ohne Nebenblätter. Blüten 4zählig, end- und blattwinkelständig, einzeln, kurz gestielt, eine offene Rispe bildend. Kronblätter weiss, 0,5-0,7mal so lang wie die Kelchblätter, diese 3,5-5 mm lang, die 2 inneren länger als die 2 äusseren. Frucht eine linsenförmige, mit 2 Klappen aufspringende 1-2samige Kapsel.
