Synthesis

40-150 cm hoch, ästig, kraushaarig, oft rot überlaufen. Blätter lineal-lanzettlich, flach, bewimpert, zuletzt verkahlend, 2-5 cm lang und 3-7 mm breit. Blüten ca. 1 mm lang, einzeln oder zu 2 in den Achseln von 5-10 mm langen Hochblättern sitzend, in end- und seitenständigen, ährigen Blütenständen. Perigonzipfel 5, zur Fruchtzeit geflügelt. Staubblätter 5, frei.Frucht 3-4 mm lang.
