Synthesis

30-120(-250) cm hoch. Blätter länglich-eiförmig bis 3eckig, die unteren am Grund herz- oder spiessförmig, +/- ganzrandig, gestielt, bis 10 cm lang. Gesamtblütenstand sehr reichblütig, aus end- und seitenständigen, traubigen oder rispigen Teilblütenständen. Einhäusig. Blüten unscheinbar, aber weibliche Blüten und Früchte von 2 grossen, rundlichen, flachen, netzaderigen Vorblättern («Fruchtklappen») mit (0,5-)1-1,5 cm Durchmesser umgeben.
