Synthesis

Blätter 5-15(-20) cm lang und höchstens 1 cm breit, Stiel 1/4-1/3 so lang wie die Spreite. Blattstiel und -spindel ungeflügelt, glänzend rot- bis schwarzbraun, aber die obersten 1-3 cm auch im Alter grün. Spreite lineal-lanzettlich, einfach gefiedert, jederseits mit 15-40 Fiedern, diese gewölbt, schief bis senkrecht zur Spreitenebene stehend, im Herbst abfallend. Sori länglich, zu 6-8. Schleier zur Reifezeit verdeckt.
