Unterscheidet sich von A. vulgaris durch folgende Merkmale: mit langen Ausläufern, die überwinternde Blattrosetten treiben. Geruch aromatisch, stark kampferartig. Blätter von der Mitte des Stängels an aufwärts stets einfach fiederschnittig, mit ganzrandigen, schmal-lanzettlichen Abschnitten. Köpfe kugelig.
