60-120(-150) cm hoch, aromatisch, kahl. Blätter ungeteilt, schmal-lanzettlich, ganzrandig, 2-10 cm lang und 2-8 mm breit, mit verschmälertem Grund sitzend. Blütenköpfe kurz gestielt oder sitzend, nickend, Durchmesser 2-3 mm, mit grünlich-gelben Röhrenblüten, ohne Zungenblüten, in allseitswendiger, lockerer Rispe.
