30-60 cm hoch, unverzweigt, kahl. Stängel im oberen Teil unter den Knoten stark klebrig. Blätter schmal-lanzettlich, am Grund in Rosetten, Stängelblätter kleiner als die grundständigen. Blütenstand stockwerkartig-rispig. Kronblätter lebhaft rosa, ca. 2 cm lang, gestutzt oder ausgerandet, mit ca. 3 mm hohem Nebenkrönchen. Griffel 5. Kelch 11-13 mm lang, 10rippig. Kapsel ca. 7 mm lang, mit 5 Zähnen öffnend, im Kelch lang gestielt.
